Biography
Dr. Bulent Mertoglu is a professor within the bioengineering department at Marmara University. He holds a Ph.D. degree and a Master of Science degree in environmental engineering. His research activities have been focused on environmental biotechnology and microbiology of aerobic-anaerobic biodegradation, biological nutrient removal and solid waste management. He has a wide and rich experience on leachate treatment plants, endocrine disrupters and wastewater treatment plant operation. He has published 33 research papers in SCI journals. He has been taking many national projects supported by Marmara University or the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey. He has also provided technical assistance to support the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU).
